A large piece of land in Kokkino Chorio A large private plot of 4504,79 m2 on a vantage point in the region of Kokkino Chorio with spectacular views of the towering mountain to the south and the sea to the north is up for sale. The property has a building allowance of 186 m2 , access to the public water system, and the public power grid that currently reaches right next to the property. The plot’s amphitheatrical inclination secures an unobstructed view of the horizon. It is a property surrounded by trees, nestled within the lush region of Kokkino Chorio. This picturesque small village has lately been turned into an ex-pat resort inhabited chiefly by Brits and people from other countries of Europe who have built their main residences or holiday homes in the beautiful village. Famous for its depiction in the “Zorbas, the Greek” movie and its glass-blowing factory, Kokkino Chorio preserves almost intact its traditional character throughout the years. Beautifully restored houses originating from the Venetian times and old churches are the main reason for wandering through the narrow streets of the village, leaving an overwhelming, romantic impression on every visitor. A local café and a mini market provide the standard amenities, but for more options, the larger villages of Kalives and Vamos are just 20 minutes by car. Nearby sandy beaches can be found in Almirida (3,5 km) and in Kalives (7km). LC79
