The building construction has exterior thermal insulation and high energy efficiency double glazed aluminium windows to achieve the best thermal behaviour with its basic components. For heating and cooling the villa uses the most up to date low consumption air to air heat pumps which power the hidden fan coil system and additionally the underfloor system of the main house, while hot water is produced by solar boilers. Ceiling fans are installed in all interior spaces to minimise the use of air-conditioning and create a pleasant interior microclimate.
