This beautiful home combines luxury, comfort, and a breathtaking view over the Mediterranean Sea. From the sunny rooftop terrace with a cozy bar to the veranda with a fireplace, the whirlpool in the bathroom, and the infinity pool that seamlessly blends into the sea, Casa Familiar has something special to offer for every family member. In 2018, the transformation of this villa began, with a location that instantly enchanted: the feeling of stepping right into the sea from the terrace is truly spectacular. Together with the renowned local architect Vicente Gijarro, an old house was transformed into a modern dream villa that meets high Dutch standards. Every detail has been carefully finished, making Casa Familiar perfect not only for holidays but also for permanent residence. **Architecture** At the start of the renovation, there was a clear vision: Casa Familiar must become a modern, contemporary villa. The steep staircase was replaced by a spacious driveway, and the hillside was leveled to create play space for children and parking spots. The first designs were quickly ready, and various adjustments were made during the construction process to optimally utilize the villa and the location. The result is an open and bright house, where one can enjoy the breathtaking view from every room. The bedrooms are equipped with spacious French balconies, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living. Every living and sleeping area has a view of the Mediterranean Sea. **Layout** From the veranda, one enters the house at the front through the hallway between the living room and the kitchen. The veranda also provides access (via the staircase next to the front door) to the rooftop terrace. The rooftop terrace features a fixed bar, where one can enjoy the view and a drink in the evenings. The open kitchen is accessible from the living room. The kitchen has a door to the rear terrace. Through the hallway that connects the living room and kitchen with the bedrooms and bathrooms, the utility room is also accessible, containing a laundry area with a washing machine and dryer, as well as a second fridge/freezer combination. The guest toilet is also accessible through the utility room. Following this are the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of these bathrooms is en suite and part of the master bedroom. The master bedroom also has its own walk-in closet. Below the house is an additional guest apartment/bedroom, as well as a garage/storage room. An extra toilet has been created under the staircase from the parking area, so one can easily use the toilet while swimming without having to enter the house. **Materials Used** **Terrace** The terrace is fitted with 80x80cm ceramic PORCELANOSA UNIK tiles with anti-slip in the color IVORY. Next to the pool is a design outdoor shower of the brand and type SANTA OUTDOOR ST XL 105 CR. **Veranda** The veranda has been opened up, and the arches that were initially present have been removed. To enjoy the veranda in winter as well, a sliding door with ceiling-high windows and a fireplace of the brand Fusion Central has been installed. The fireplace is finished in the color Champagne/bronze. **Rooftop Terrace** The rooftop terrace is made of concrete and features a fixed bar. There is ample space to lounge and enjoy the sunset. **Living Room** The living room has a Champagne/bronze colored CL Design O'800 fireplace supplied by Dirk Smit Chimineas from Altea. **Kitchen** The kitchen is designed by Creativ Cocinas and made in Germany. The kitchen is fully equipped with the highest quality materials and appliances. Almost all appliances are from the Siemens iQ700 series. The countertop and cooking island in the kitchen are made by DEKTON. A champagne-colored sink with a matching faucet is integrated into the cooking island. The kitchen features a Bora Pure PURU induction cooktop with built-in extraction. A Siemens combi-oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer combination, oven/microwave, two wine coolers, and a plate warmer. **Utility Room** The utility room has a fixed DEKTON countertop with a washing machine and dryer from Siemens underneath. There is also a second fridge/freezer combination from Siemens. **Guest Toilet** The guest toilet has a floating toilet and a standing design sink. **Bathroom I** The first very luxurious bathroom features a double vanity unit, a standalone rain shower, a floating toilet, and a luxury whirlpool. Above the sinks hang two illuminated and heated mirrors. **En Suite Bathroom** This very luxurious en suite bathroom is intended for the parents and is part of the master bedroom. This bathroom also features a double vanity unit, a standalone rain shower, and a floating toilet. Above the sinks hang two illuminated and heated mirrors. **Pool** The heated saltwater infinity pool has multiple waterproof layers before being tiled. It is then fitted with 2.5x2.5cm ceramic GRESITE MEZCLA mosaic tiles in the color MONTREAL. These tiles have a metallic layer that gives the pool a vibrant blue color. The pool is heated by a Bomba de Calor Z300 heat pump of 7.6 KW. The water quality is maintained by an Electrolysis GO SALT 40 GR/H and an extensive filtration system. **Frames** The entire house is equipped with aluminum frames with insulated, heat-resistant glazing. **Glazing** **Exterior Doors** The extra reinforced Iroko exterior doors are made by C. MOYCA Carpinteria, S.L. and equipped with the type THOR 20 CAMBA. These doors are weighted and provide extra security. **Floors and Baseboards** The floors in the house are fitted with 80x80cm ceramic PORCELANOSA UNIK tiles in the color IVORY. The same tiles are used on the terrace, but in the anti-slip variant. The baseboards are of the same brand and material as the tiles and executed in **Interior Walls** All walls in the living and sleeping areas are finished with smooth plasterwork and a coat of paint. The interior walls in the bathrooms are fitted with ceiling-high 100x275cm ceramic PORCELANOSA tiles with a marble structure. **Exterior Walls** All exterior walls are finished with monocapa and a coat of paint. **Driveway and Parking Area** The driveway is fitted with stamped concrete in a light color.
