Location - Santa Maria al Bagno is part of the municipality of Nardò in the province of Lecce. It is located about 7 kilometers from Nardò and Galatone and has about 950 inhabitants. It owes its name to the beautiful tower that was part of the defense system built by Charles V in the 16th century. Over time, Santa Maria al Bagno has been enriched with noble buildings, villas and a charming promenade lined with palm trees and has become one of the most beautiful seaside resorts on the Ionian Sea. The coastline is characterized by very low coasts, partly rocky and interspersed with sandy beaches, the main attraction for families with children.
