The house is located in Brussels in the Ixelles district, between the Place Flagey and the Place du Luxembourg (European Parliament). The house is a typical “maison de maître” of Brussels: high ceilings, very luminous, includes an Italian marble fireplace wall and ceiling moldings, cast iron radiators. Large double-glazed window ! The room is at the 3rd floor. A shared kitchen equipped (electric vitro plate, new, owen, refrigerators ) The location of the house is very convenient: close to the European district (10 minutes walking distance of the European Parliament), close to the restaurants/pubs area (5 minutes walking from the restaurants of the Place Saint-Boniface, 10 minutes from the pubs of Place du Luxembourg and Place Flagey, 10 minutes from the UGC cinema of Porte de Namur) and close to the commercial district of Toison d’or/avenue Louise. 20 m2 room with kitchenette and bathroom in colocation (hidden) Magritte As i have to leave Brussels earlier than expected I need to find a tenant in my place starting from July till September with the possibility to extend the lease. Once you decide on renting the place I will contact you with (hidden) Magritte(the company, which owns this colocation), as all the formalities have to go through them. The building is brand new, I was one of the first tenants in the building and the first one in my room (I’ve arrived in February this year). It’s just 7-10 minutes from Roodebeek metro and tram stop. There is a shopping mall (Woluwe Shopping) nearby and a Delhaize few minutes away. The area is surrounded by a lot of parks and greenery, quite calm and safe (never had any problems). Despite being seemingly far from center thanks to the metro you can get to the Gare Centrale in around 20 minutes (including the walk to the metro). The ground floor offers a big common space for all the tenants with a separate TV room, coworking space and small salon, laundry room (€3.50 per wash, €2.50 per dry) as well as small gym (see the attached pictures). The whole building has 7 floors each hosting 9 tenants. You would live on 2nd floor. Each floor has a well supplied kitchen with 3 fridges, two stoves, coffee machine and a dishwasher and a living room with a TV. There’s a big balcony as well. The common space is cleaned weekly by the Magritte staff (twice a week somebody comes to take out the trash). The room itself is very cozy, with big windows facing a small park in front of the building. It has a fully equipped kitchenette and a bathroom.
