Sprinkange belongs to the municipality of Dippach in the canton of Capellen and is located in the south-west of the country. The municipality comprises the towns of Bettange-sur-Mess, Dippach, Schouweiler and Sprinkange.
In nearby Schouweiler, you'll find the commune's administrative functions, as well as small stores for everyday needs. In Bascharage (4.5 km), there are several large supermarkets, restaurants, petrol stations and stores. From here, you can also reach the A13 freeway, which runs through the south of Luxembourg.
The large "La Belle Etoile" and "City Concorde" shopping centers in Bertrange are just a 10-minute drive away. The "Les Thermes" aquatic center in Strassen is just 15 minutes away, and invites you to relax in its wellness area.
The new "Rondwee Gemeng Dippech" circular route passes by the church in Bettange-sur-Mess, skirts the railway tracks to Sprinkange and then takes the main road back to Bettange-sur-Mess. It offers beautiful scenery in all seasons and is a great family outing.

The cycle path right next to the housing estate links up with the PC12 "Attert" and PC9 "Faubourg Minier" national trails, passing through the towns of Schouweiler and Sprinkange.



SCHOOLS

The former Bettange-sur-Mess pre-school was recently moved to the new school site in Schouweiler. This new multi-functional school campus, designed for early education and cycles 2 - 4 as well as sports education, has been available to all concerned since the start of the 2016/2017 school year. A halfway house accommodates the children in the former Schouweiler school building.

There is also a youth center and a new home for the "Dippecher Dachsen", the scouts and guides of the Dippach community.

Nearby, there are secondary schools in Luxembourg-City, Mamer and Lamadelaine, all of which are easily accessible by public transport.



TRANSPORT

Dippach is served by several RGTR and CFL bus routes, as well as by a "Late Night Bus" on Friday and Saturday nights from 1:00 to 3:47 in the morning.

The "Beim Kräiz" bus stop is in the immediate vicinity of the housing estate and is only used to transport children attending the Schouweiler school. However, the PAP plans to install a new bus shelter for regular transport, around 20m from the "Beim Kräiz" stop.

Another bus stop, "Bei der aler Schoul", is on the Route de Longwy, around 650 m from the development, an 8-minute walk.
