Our place called : "THE OTHER SIDE". We are looking for a flatmate starting March the 3rd 2024. Atypical room, a WOODEN SUSPENDED CABIN. Very close to downtown Brussels. Direct metro line to the European Parliament ( 29 min door to door). to Erasme hospital ( 25min door to door) Brussels center ( 15 min door to door) Our living space called « The Other Side » is an atypical and outstanding residential loft which has been co-created by artist and creative-types since 2012. This fully-furnished collective space is shared by 3 to 4 people in total and a young boy (now 4 years old). The room is a spacious wooden cabin (12m squared) with a queen size mattress. The cabin is suspended in the middle of the shared open space. Yes, you read correctly, the cabin is suspended in the middle of the shared open space. Calm and serene shared environment with very large windows, tons of plants and plenty of cushions. There is a high sense of respect towards each other as well as towards nature. Within the shared space there is also a teepee, and a small room downstairs. We have a balcony. The large open kitchen invites you to cook (fully equipped) and the bathroom is a jungle, full of plants. Gummo is the name of our cute, very clean and clever cat. Proximity to Aumale park and to the AUMALE METRO station. All the people who stayed here over the years have contributed in building the space, which gives it a unique and cosy vibe. Furthermore it features everything you need for a vibrant life in Brussels. When you need to get a dose of the city centre, you can just hop on a metro and reach Brussels Centre in just 15 minutes. The newest and largest metro station Gare de l’Ouest (West Station) is at 10’ walk from the apartment providing excellent direct connections. The distance to the Parliament and EU Commission is about 20 min from the house. Brussels old part centre about 15 min. In 9' walk you can reach the beautiful Marie-José and Albert parks and in 14' walk the Scheutbos Park which is more impressive with its grass-lands, hedges, bushes, woods and little rivers. It reminds the former rural panorama of this part of Brussels and is a transition between the agglomeration and the countryside. Move in and out walk throughs each cost 35€. For contracts of 6 months or less, there is a onetime fee of 150€ to be paid with the first rent.
